- Now that we have mentioned a few obvious
reasons let us mention a few reasons that we felt were not so obvious.
- First, we could rent a helicopter
and shoot still photography and video while flying over each course (as a matter
of fact we've done that for some of our commercial clients) but, we didn't
think that your golfers would appreciate the distraction of a helicopter
flying over their heads.
Second, renting the helicopter is quite expensive because you can't just rent any helicopter with any pilot; you have to hire an experienced professional with a specialized helicopter to get smooth shots.
Third, when we build everything in the computer we have complete control over the shots, the lighting, the weather, the animated fly over movements and a whole bunch of other factors.
Finally, it's simple public relations. If someone can't afford to travel to and play your course they can now dream about doing so as they visually see it on your site. As we mentioned above golfers love to analyze courses and they dream about playing the best holes in the world...we can make that easier and more fun!
